General Terms and Conditions for :
La Bâtisse de Lucien
To validate a booking, a (30%) deposit must be received within 10 days of the booking confirmation being sent.
1- Security deposit
A security deposit of €3,000 must be provided on arrival, and will be returned within 10 days of checking out, after deducting the cost of any repairs to the property in case of damage.
2- Payment
The customer agrees to pay the remaining cost of the stay 1 month before arriving at the holiday rental home.
3- Cancellations
In case of cancellation (except for Covid, see article 11), the amounts paid will be reimbursed after receipt of a cancellation letter, which will be sent by registered post with acknowledgment of receipt no later than 30 days before the start of the rental period. Customers will not be reimbursed for cancellations made after this time, whatever the reason.
In the event of cancellation by the owner, the deposit will be reimbursed.
4- Check-in and check-out times
The day of your arrival, the holiday rental will be available from 5p.m. When checking out, the rental home must be vacated by 10a.m. except for weekend stays where it is possible to stay until 7p.m. Customers must notify the owner of their arrival time 24 hours in advance to arrange key collection.
5- Loss/Theft
The owners will not be held responsible in the event of loss or theft.
6- Safety
If necessary, the owner reserves the right to access the rental property at any time. Fire extinguishers are to be used only in the event of a fire. Customers will be invoiced €150 for any extinguisher that is unsealed.
7- Sheets and towels
Sheets are provided and you will find the beds made when you arrive. Bath towels (70x140cm - 28”x55”) can be hired for €5 each.
8- Cleaning
End-of-stay cleaning includes cleaning the floors and bathrooms. Customers must ensure that the bins are emptied, that the dishes have been washed and that tables, work surfaces and cooker elements are clean.
9- Capacity
The maximum capacity of 15 people must not be exceeded, even during the day.
10- Insurance
Customers are responsible for any damage they cause. They are advised to take out holiday insurance to cover the different related risks.
11- Cancellation due to Covid
Cancellations due to Covid are accepted only if imposed by the relevant authorities (government, prefect or mayor). In such cases, the stay may be postponed for up to 18 months.
12- SPA
The spa area is available from 10a.m. to 8p.m.
Customers must shower before entering the hot tub.
You must remove your shoes at the top of the stairs before entering the spa area.
The hot tub must be covered when not in use. Unaccompanied minors are not allowed in this area.
13- Swimming pool
Customers must take care when using the swimming pool and supervise any young children staying with them. They will take full responsibility for any material damages or injuries due to accidents or other incidents resulting from use of the pool, and will supervise non-swimmers and inexperienced swimmers. Customers acknowledge that the owner will not be held liable in the event of an accident involving them or any of their party.
The pool area is open from mid-May to mid-September. The pool is available from 8a.m. to 8p.m.
The holiday rental home and pool are private and may only be used by customers during their stay. No other guests or visitors will be allowed.
The owners reserve the right to use the swimming pool. The owners will not be held responsible in the event of an injunction by public authorities to restrict the use of the pool.
The customer waives the right to hold the owner of the rental home responsible for potential risks related to the swimming pool.
14- Miscellaneous
Gets are not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted.
15- Acceptance of terms and conditions
Payment of the deposit will entail acceptance of these terms and conditions.
